I love space buns, and various creators have designed several different meshes you can use in the base game. I’ve compiled an extensive list below, which is free to download and use in the base game.

I’ll kick off the list with my favorite space buns, designed by thatonegreenleaf. As the name suggests, these heart-shaped space buns add a romantic and sweet touch to your Sim’s look. The buns have a middle part and two face-framing strands to add character and dimension to your look.

You’ll find the hair in multiple vibrant swatches, including the hot pink pictured above, so you can create colorful looks for your female Sim. Note that this custom content is compatible with hats.

Sidra Hairstyle

The Sidra Hairstyle is unlike the traditional space bun hairstyle. It features high space buns braided with several front strands flowing down for a layered look. The rest of the hair falls to the side and back.

This hairstyle comes in three versions: one with braided add-ons, another without, and the last with an even face-framing bang. You can add the bow accessory to the hair to elevate its look. You’ll find 24 EA swatches, plus highlight overlays to increase your styling options in CAS.

Kat Hair

S‑Club is one of my favorite alpha-style hair creators, and their Double-Buns are nothing short of stunning. These messy space buns have curls for added oomph and extra strands to frame your Sim’s beautiful face. Despite their messiness, they look sleek and sophisticated on your Sim.

Another stylish hairstyle designed by S-Club is Candu. This Sims 4 space buns cc features two heart-shaped buns styled with a bang and loose strands. I love the bead accessories at the base of the buns as they add a colorful and vibrant touch to your Sim’s look.

You’ll find the hair in 18+ colors, so you can choose a shade that suits your Sim. I’d use this hair on creative and expressive Sims who aren’t afraid to stand out.

Space Buns Hair

Since it has a youthful touch, I recommend using it on teens to young adults. It’s compatible with hats and the base game, so you shouldn’t experience any problems using it in your game.

Lila Hair

Better Space Buns

The base game’s space buns are incredibly tiny and don’t always look good on Sims with bigger heads. This cc is an upgrade of the base game version, giving you better space buns with a fuller and more realistic look.

The updated version appears more aesthetically pleasing and translates beautifuly into the game. You’ll find the hair in EA’s 18-color palette, plus the creators’ custom dulce shades. Sailor Space Buns

If you want a braided space bun to add to your collection, check out the Sailor Space Buns. These double buns feature neatly braided strands, which add an ethnic touch to your Sim’s appearance. I love the two loose braids at the front, as they frame the face evenly. The rest of the hair falls toward the back.

Note that this cc is a recolor of an original mesh, but the mesh is included in the download. You can choose from 44 swatches, including natural shades like brown and black, to fantasy shades like pink and blue.

Braided Space Buns

Another braided space bun to add to your CAS folder is this one by JellyPaws. The modern and elegant double space buns are parted at the middle to evenly frame your Sim’s face. I love how neat and clean the braids are, and the baby hairs at the front add an extra layer of flair to your Sim’s look.

You’ll find the Maxi Match hair in 18 EA colors, including natural shades like blonde and brown, as well as unnatural shades like red and blue.

Since these double buns are simple, I recommend using them to create everyday looks for your school-going teens.

Arabella Hair

Arabella Hair is a braided double bun hairstyle designed with a symmetrical shape. The middle-parted buns have a huge, round shape to add structure and depth to your Sim’s appearance. You’ll find this hair in 24 EA colors, and it’s compatible with hats.

Viki Hair by Simandy is one of my go-to Sims 4 space buns cc when I want something cute and voluminous. The double buns have a symmetrical, round shape with a few loose strands for added realism. I love the long bangs at the front, which loosely frame the face while adding dimension.

This hair comes in an extensive color palette, ranging from neutrals like brown to vibrant shades like blue and pink. You can play around with the endless color options to find a shade that suits your Sim’s skin tone. Be sure to download the puppy crow addon to get the extensive color palette.

Bow Space Buns

If you want something simple and elegant for your female Sims, get the Bow Space Buns. They’re double buns designed with a bow accessory to add a fun and romantic touch to your Sim’s appearance. You must download the bow overlay at the bottom of the post’s description for it to show up in-game.

Both the hair and the bow come in multiple shades, so you can mix and match to find a suitable combo for your Sim. I recommend adding baby hairs to the style as its hairline is quite sharp and unrealistic.

Yasmin ( Hair 93 )

If you love alpha-style hair, check out the Yasmin ( Hair 93 ). This double bun hair cc features a middle part and two long bangs to frame the face. It comes in 30 solid color swatches, like the blonde and brown pictured.
