39+ Must-Have Sims 4 Traits for Your Sim’s Personality
Find unique Sims 4 traits CC like possessive daddy, borderline personality, guitar legend, and more for unique gameplay.

We can all agree that traits are the backbone of personality in The Sims 4, shaping how your Sims act, react, and interact with the world around them. The base game offers various custom traits, but the options are few and limited.
If you want to create unique characters with advanced personalities, you need to download custom Sims 4 traits. Below, I’ve compiled a list of the best custom traits for realistic gameplay. The list covers how each trait changes the way your Sims live their digital lives. All the traits are compatible with the base game, and you can only equip up to three traits.

What Are Personality Traits in The Sims?
Personality traits are the foundation of how Sims think, act, and interact with the world. They determine your Sim’s behavior, emotions, and even the kinds of social interactions available to them. Unlike reward traits or aspiration traits, which are unlocked through gameplay, personality traits are chosen directly in Create-a-Sim (CAS) when you first make a Sim.
How many can you pick?
- Adults & Young Adults: You can only equip up to three traits for adults.
- Teens: You can only equip 2 personality traits
- Children: You can only equip 1 personality trait
- Toddlers: You can only equip 1 toddler-specific trait
Categories of Personality Traits:
- Emotional (e.g., Cheerful, Hot-Headed, Gloomy)
- Hobbies (e.g., Bookworm, Foodie, Geek)
- Lifestyle (e.g., Loner, Ambitious, Lazy)
- Social (e.g., Outgoing, Evil, Good)
These Sims 4 traits affect your Sim’s moodlets, autonomy, career performance, relationships, and skill growth, making every Sim feel unique. For example, a Hot-Headed Sim will likely experience the angry moodlet more often than a Cheerful Sim. On the other hand, a Goofball Sim finds joy in silly jokes and playful moments.
By mixing and matching traits, you can create Sims with well-rounded personalities or push them to extremes for storytelling. From extreme sports enthusiasts to evil masterminds, personality traits define the core identity of your Sim.
Must-Have Sims 4 Personality Traits
The Dunce Trait

Download: The Dunce Trait
The Dunce trait is designed for Sims who aren’t the sharpest tool in the shed but make up for it with energy and humor. Sims with this trait often struggle with mental skills and cannot become focused, but they excel in physical and comedic activities. They may occasionally get randomly dazed, reflecting their absent-mindedness.
Key Features include:
- Slower skill gain in mental skills.
- Gain skills faster in fitness and comedy.
- Random +2 Dazed moodlet for 4 hours.
- Cannot stay focused (Focused moodlets fade quickly).
- Better performance in physical careers (like an Athlete), weaker in mental careers (like a Scientist).
I recently used this trait, and it worked exceptionally well for athletic and playful lifestyles.
Savant Trait Faster Skills

Download: Savant Trait Faster Skills
Ever wish your Sims could blaze through skill books and level up like geniuses? The Savant Trait (Faster Skills) has got your back. This Sims 4 traits pack turns your Sim into a true mastermind by dramatically boosting how quickly they gain knowledge. Note that you can ramp that up to 5x or even 12x faster learning, making it the ultimate tool for storytellers and speed-runners.
So, if you want your Sim to master playing video games or becoming a culinary master, this is the trait to get.
Key features include:
- The trait works without the side effects of older fast-skills mods.
- Skills gained are permanent, and your Sim keeps their new level even if the mod is removed.
This trait is perfect for ambitious Sims or players who want quicker progress without endless grinding.
Activist Trait

Download: Activist Trait
Let me introduce you to the Activist Trait, perfect for those who believe their voice can change the world. Sims with this trait are driven by passion and a sense of justice, making them natural leaders in protests, social causes, and community change.
They like to discuss world peace and gain a strong energy boost when giving speeches. But the harsh realities of online chatter can sometimes leave them feeling sad and disillusioned.
Key Features:
- Career Boost: Progress in the Activist career 3x faster than regular Sims.
- Unique Buffs include freedom of Speech (+2 Energized) when giving speeches and getting sad when browsing the internet, reflecting disappointment in humanity.
- Personality: Your Sim embodies values of justice, leadership, and moral responsibility.
I used this trait to pursue a career in politics. It made everything easier and more realistic.
Teen Pack Part 4

Download: Teen Pack Part 4
If you want your teenage Sims to feel more authentic and full of personality, grab this Teen Pack Part 4 mod. It introduces seven new traits tailored to the ups and downs of teenage life, and covers everything from daydreamers to social butterflies. Each trait in the stuff pack gives your teen Sim a stronger sense of identity and helps you create more dynamic high school stories.
You’ll get the following traits:
- Imaginative – Often dazing off into their own world, these Sims are inspired, creative, and prone to dreamy escapes from reality.
- Cute – The center of attention without even trying, they’re naturally popular and adored by their peers.
- Girly – Lovers of fashion, shopping, and gossip. They form relationships quickly but burn through their social energy faster.
- Partier – Social butterflies who thrive on dancing, talking, and late-night fun. Their social need decays quickly, but they enjoy every moment.
- Dare Devil – Fearless and adventurous, they love trying new things and are always up for a challenge.
- Nerd – Smarter than the average Sim, they enjoy science and math but usually keep to fellow geeks.
- Emo – They’re moody and withdrawn, and often feel depressed and can only connect easily with other Emo Sims.
You can use these traits with the High School Years EP or in the base game to make teenage gameplay more interesting.
Loser Trait

Download: Loser Trait
We can agree that not every Sim is destined for glory, as some are born underdogs, and that’s where the Loser Trait comes in. Sims with this trait have a tougher time succeeding in life, whether it’s school, work, or relationships. They gain skills and experience more slowly, and their social life tends to be a struggle.
Despite all this, there’s a silver lining: Loser Sims get angry less often than others, making them oddly resilient despite constant setbacks. I’d use this trait to craft a story about perseverance against the odds.
Born Chef Trait

Download: Born Chef Trait
I was born into a family of chefs, and therefore, I had to include the Born Chef Trait in this list. This Sims 4 trait transforms your Sim into a natural culinary artist who excels in cooking, gourmet meals, baking, and even herbalism. Your Sim will master these skills much faster than regular Sims, and their performance in the Culinary career skyrockets as a result. To top it off, hunger decays more slowly, giving them extra stamina to whip up delicious feasts.
This trait is especially rewarding for storytelling and romantic social interactions. For instance, you can whip up a killer chicken to mesmerize your loved one or build a multi-restaurant empire from scratch. I have a separate guide on How to Run a Successful Restaurant in Sims 4, which you can use to succeed.
Coward Trait

Download: Coward Trait
Add a little drama and a lot more fear into your Sim’s life with the Coward Trait. Sims with this trait are easily frightened and carry many insecurities, making them prone to tense emotions in everyday situations. They’re also often overwhelmed by their fears in multiple situations, including swimming, cooking, working out, or even playing basketball.
Key features for this trait include:
- Whims include: sharing insecurities, telling self-deprecating jokes, hiding from others, asking for reassurance, and even having emotional meltdowns.
- Physical and athletic skills develop 30% slower than normal Sims.
- Need Changes: Bladder need decay becomes 1.4x faster, reflecting nervous tendencies.
Your Sim will also gain fear of simple activities like swimming, cooking, and exercising.
Curious Trait

Download: Curious Trait
Created by UniSims, the Curious Trait is one of the best Sims 4 traits to add to your Sim’s personality. It makes your Sim more inquisitive and eager to explore. For example, a Curious Sim is always fascinated by the world around them and quick to uncover new things. They will often feel inspired, but if they can’t satisfy their curiosity, they may become tense or even bored.
This trait brings a playful and adventurous edge to your gameplay and can be used when experimenting, asking questions, or trying something new to see what happens.
You can use this trait on all ages and genders. I used it on my teen Sim, and it changed their whole demeanor in high school. They were more eager to learn and explore new friendships with other Sims.
Photography Trait

Download: Photography Trait
Don’t you love it when you pull out a camera and suddenly the whole room lights up? This Sims 4 trait gives Sims the ability to capture beautiful moments with nearby Sims, from wedding shots and food to food snaps. Unlike most Sims, who dabble in photography as just another hobby, these Sims have a personality trait that shines through creativity.
Key Features:
- Whims include making money from a photo studio.
- Ties into the Social Media Career, with whims like advertising, livestreaming for charity, and earning followers.
- Photography skill gain boosted to 300%, letting them master the craft quickly.
- Being happy and thriving around Other Artists: (+2 Happy) when at art venues.
You can use this trait for storytelling around live art, fashion, or influencer-style careers.
Intellectual Trait

Download: Intellectual Trait
Some Sims crave knowledge and education, and the Intellectual Trait is made for them. The Sims 4 trait is the result of a well-rounded education where Sims thrive in scholarly environments and mental pursuits.
Intellectual Sims are naturally more skilled in professions like Doctor, Scientist, and Writer, and their mental and logic skills develop much faster than most Sims. With a curious mind that rarely tires, they gain unique buffs that make reading, debating, and storytelling all the more rewarding.
Key Features:
- Career Boosts: Doctor (1.5x), Scientist (1.5x), Writer (1.25x).
- Skills: Mental skills improve at a 1.5x rate, logic is more effective with a bonus level.
- Fun decays at half the normal rate, meaning they’re rarely bored.
- Behave similarly to Bookworms, Art Lovers, and Geniuses combined.
I like using this trait to pursue high-paying Sims 4 careers like doctor, scientist, and attorney. It makes hitting the aspirations and milestones much easier and faster.
Crazy Trait

Download: Crazy Trait
I love the use of Harley Quinn, the DC Comics villain, as inspiration for the Crazy Trait because it captures her chaotic, unpredictable energy perfectly. Crazy Sims are Playful by default, excel at Mischief skill-building, and form relationships more quickly thanks to their wild charisma. They can’t become sad, embarrassed, focused, or inspired, keeping their mood swings firmly in the realm of playful chaos.
This trait is especially fun for storytelling because it lets Simmers recreate crazy characters like Harley Quinn or The Joker in the base game. I’ve used this personality trait before to make my romance interactions more chaotic and drama-filled. It really spiced up my love life and pairs well with flirty Sims.
Alcoholic Trait

Download: Alcoholic Trait
The Alcoholic Trait brings an immersive experience centered around nightlife and dependency in your virtual world. Sims with this trait crave drinks regularly and receive negative moodlets if they go too long without visiting a bar or nightclub. Once they finally have a drink, they’ll experience satisfying positive moodlets that ease their tension. Note that just being in these venues can make them happier.
I’ve used this trait before to explore a darker narrative, and paired it with the Basemental Drugs mod. My goal was to create a Sim who was battling addiction, which was one of the inherited traits they got from their parents. Here’s a round list of the Sims 4 Realistic Mods I used for this save.
I recommend it to nightlife enthusiasts, Sims battling personal struggles, or households that thrive in late-night chaos.
Guitar Legend

Download: Guitar Legend
While most Sims play the guitar, some live and breathe it, thanks to the Guitar Legend Trait. With this trait, your Sim transforms into a born performer, picking up the guitar skill almost effortlessly. They thrive on music, socializing, and entertaining others. This makes them naturals in the Entertainment career and beyond.
This Sims 4 traits pack comes with a bonus system for higher royalty payments on original songs. It’s unlocked once your Sim reaches skill level 9, ensuring your Sims can make a living strumming chords and rocking solos.
Special whims include:
- Serenade Someone with a Guitar
- Mentor Someone on the Guitar
The creator recommends complementing this trait with others like Creative, Music lover, and Outdoor lover traits to get the most out of it.
Funny Trait

Download: Funny Trait
The Funny Trait is perfect for Sims who thrive on cracking jokes, lightening the mood, and making every interaction more entertaining. Sims with this trait love being the center of amusement and naturally draw others in with their wit and humor. They’ll engage in actions like a silly quip, a stand-up routine, or playful banter with nearby Sims.
Gameplay features include:
- Whims: Funny Sims are driven to tell jokes, write jokes, perform on a microphone, and even share humor online.
- Skill Boosts: Comedy and imagination skills grow 3x faster than normal Sims, while social, charisma, mischief, and entertainer-related skills also increase more quickly.
- Career Advantages to excel in the Entertainer career path.
- Relationship Perks: Friendships and romances progress 3x faster, as their humor helps break the ice.
- Buffs: Playful moods appear more often, but relationships can sometimes suffer with the “You Think You’re Funny” angry buff when their partner grows tired of constant jokes.
Violent Trait (Always Angry)

Download: Violent Trait (Always Angry)
Do you want pure chaos in your Sim’s household? Download the Violent Trait. It makes Sims almost permanently angry, quick to lash out, and constantly on the edge of an outburst. They won’t just fume silently, but expect them to yell at other Sims, insult faces, and even kick over trash cans whenever the rage takes over.
Note that their fury doesn’t stop with them, as nearby Sims often feel the effects too. They pick up sad and negative moodlets from being around such hostile energy. This makes Violent Sims true disruptors in any setting, spreading tension wherever they go.
The creator also warns that your Violent Sims can actually die from excess anger if you aren’t careful. I used this trait in-game, and I loved the drama and rivalries formed. The key is to pair it with other drama-filled mods for chaotic gameplay. I have a list of my top Sims 4 Drama Mods you can check out.
Family Life Update

Download: Family Life Update
I’ve got something here for Simmers who feel their Sims 4 family dynamics need more depth. This Family Life expansion-style mod introduces brand-new traits, socials, buffs, and aspirations that shape the everyday experiences of children, teens, and their families. It’s one of the best Sims 4 traits for family-style gameplay.
Key features include:
- New Traits: Includes updates like the Brat Trait, plus traits that reflect school and social experiences. This makes popular students make friends faster, but they can also be more mischievous.
- Custom interactions that make Sims check texts from parents, receiving both good and bad messages that impact their emotions.
- Unique buffs, like everyday experiences, make them gain weight. Note that being bullied at school or talking with peers now affects Sims on a deeper level.
- The Family Life Category has organized all interactions into one easy-to-find section in CAS.
I like using this trait pack to create family households with different personalities. I usually pair mine with Sims 4 Parenting Mods to make the family gameplay experience more realistic.
Baby/Toddler Trait Bundle

Download: Baby/Toddler Trait Bundle
The base game doesn’t offer enough personality options for your little ones, which is why you need this Baby/Toddler Trait Bundle. It’s a pack with seven Sims 4 traits designed for babies and toddlers. Each trait impacts how quickly your Sim child learns, interacts with others, and responds to their environment. This makes early life stages feel much richer and more dynamic.
The included traits are:
- Always Happy – Toddlers stay cheerful no matter the situation.
- Bookworm – Even at a young age, these Sims love flipping through picture books.
- Bossy – A tiny leader in the making, often telling others what to do.
- Creative – Shows sparks of imagination early on.
- Fast Learner – Skills grow faster than any other toddler.
- Naive – Innocent and trusting, sometimes too much.
- Stranger Danger – Shy around unfamiliar Sims.
This pack is a must-have if you’re playing the Sims 4 100 Baby Challenge, as it gives you the chance to give all your kids different traits.
Medieval Traits

Download: Medieval Traits
The Medieval Traits pack is perfect for Simmers who want to bring a touch of old-world charm to their Sims 4 gameplay. It’s created to support themed challenges like Medieval and Disney Princess gameplay, and introduces three distinct traits: Knight, Bard, and Joker.
- Knight: These Sims are loyal, brave, and duty-bound. Sims with this trait embody honor and protection, which makes the trait perfect for storytelling centered on heroes or protectors of the realm.
- Bard: These Sims thrive on creativity and entertainment, and they excel in music, performance, and storytelling. They’re social, witty, and often the life of any royal gathering.
- Joker: Sims with this trait are mischievous and playful. They use humor (and sometimes trickery) to liven up interactions, keeping others laughing or rolling their eyes.
All three traits are available for all ages, meaning you can weave medieval-inspired narratives through entire generations.
Anorexia Trait

Download: Anorexia Trait
Anorexia nervosa is a serious, life-threatening eating disorder, and turning it into a Sims 4 trait trivializes real struggles that people face.
This trait is available for teens to elders, and Sims with this trait experience changes in both needs and skills, along with a set of unique buffs and whims.
Gameplay effects include faster fitness skill and hunger need decay slowed to 0.05% of the normal rate. Whims include asking for reassurance, crying in the closet, hiding from everyone, and giving a pep talk in the mirror. Click on the attached link to view the buffs that come with this trait.
Misery Traits Version 5.1

Download: Misery Traits Version 5.1
In my opinion, it’s the flaws, frustrations, and little annoyances that make Sims feel the most real. Instead of picture-perfect Sims gliding through life, this Misery Traits Version 5.1 introduces everyday struggles that shape a Sim’s personality in more grounded and often dramatic ways. The issues range from seasonal issues like hay fever and dry skin to deeper emotional battles like Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) or fame jealousy. I love how these traits push your Sim to experience the less glamorous sides of life, and the result is a more immersive, story-driven gameplay where misery becomes part of your Sim’s identity. Head over to the creator’s page for more traits like this.
New Emotional Traits

Download: New Emotional Traits
I love giving my Sim’s more emotional range, and I use the New Emotional Traits pack for this. This Sims 4 traits pack contains nine personality traits designed to make Sims more eccentric and reactive. The traits are extreme versions of existing ones, giving your gameplay more nuanced moods and challenges. For example, Arrogant Sims are overly confident and thrive in Business, Politics, or Criminal careers, but may rub others the wrong way. Daydreamers feel deeply inspired yet struggle to concentrate.
You’ll also find traits like Calm, Stoic, and Insecure, each shaping how your Sims interact with the world and with others. I love how this pack adds variety and storytelling depth to everyday life, giving you traits for restless party-goers, easily frightened Cowards, or perpetually cheerful (and unsettling) Perky Sims.
Eight Pack of Teen Exclusive Traits

Download: Eight Pack of Teen Exclusive Traits
This Sims 4 traits pack adds 8 unique traits to your gameplay, each offering more extremes of personality and specialized moodlets.
These include:
- Frenzied Rebel – These Sims gain Angry buffs at school, home, or near parents and Energized buffs at bars and nightclubs. Doing homework triggers their anger. Whims for this trait include fights, angry texts, and rants.
- Living Instrument – These Sims have a skill gain boost for Guitar, Piano, Violin, Singing, DJ Mixing, and Organ. They also get inspired buffs when playing or near instruments and occasional Sad buffs. Whims include buying instruments and discussing bands.
- Walking Punchline – Boosts Comedy skill. Gains Playful buffs when in party/formal clothing, but may get Embarrassed. Comedy use escalates Playful moodlets. Whims center on jokes and impressions.
- Perpetual Motion – Boosts Fitness and Charisma skill gain. Exercising provides Energized and Happy buffs. The whims focus on sports, running, and push-ups.
- Emotional Conduit – Picks up emotions from other Sims nearby, turning them into Confident, Happy, or even Sad/Angry buffs. Especially effective near toddlers and children. Whims include hugging and buying toys.
Note that this package comes in two versions: Base Game and Expansions. Only install one at a time. The expansion version references Nightclubs, Cafes, Singing, and Organ from Vampires. If you don’t own those packs, the references will be ignored.
Possessive Daddy
Download: Possessive Daddy
Urban gameplay goes well with modern urban traits like the Possessive (Daddy) Trait, which builds on themes of jealousy, control, and territorial behavior in relationships. It comes with 40 Buffs and 20 Whims. This trait makes Sims constantly question their partner’s actions, fear losing what’s theirs, and can swing between affectionate devotion and toxic suspicion.
Buff examples include:
- The Time To Make You Mine trait has your Sim feeling thrilled to “secure” their partner and look forward to tying the knot.
- Confident +1- From starting a new romantic relationship. The Sim feels in control, expecting their partner to listen and respect them.
- Love Lost trait has your Sim expressing distrust, bitterness, and “if I can’t have them, no one can” thoughts.
- You Up To Something trait, where suspicion rises over small things like phone use.
Disclaimer: this trait does not support or promote abuse, and is purely for storytelling and drama in gameplay. I usually pair mine with Sims 4 Urban Mods for the best City Living experience.
Borderline Personality Disorder Custom Trait

Download: Borderline Personality Disorder Custom Trait
The Borderline Personality Disorder Custom Trait introduces a highly complex emotional layer to your Sims 4 gameplay. Sims with this trait will display a mix of positive and negative behaviors, shifting between empathy, kindness, and creativity, to episodes of insecurity and emotional instability. They receive occasional buffs every 6 to 24 hours. This means your Sim gains an Inspired buff while in their home area.
Key Features include:
- Creative, generous, and kind-hearted qualities balanced with modesty and empathy
- Unstable interpersonal relationships and self-derision
- Fear of abandonment, depression, anxiety, anger, and rage episodes
It’s available for teens to elders, and is inspired by clinical research.
New Traits Pack

Download: New Traits Pack
One thing I really like about this set is how it blends fun and practical traits, letting your Sims feel even more unique in day-to-day gameplay. The New Traits Pack gives you options like Street Smart for Sims who hustle and negotiate through conversations, Animal Whisperer for those with a special bond to pets, or Time-Sensitive for Sims who are constantly aware of time.
You’ll also find deeper traits like Philosopher, Spiritual Healer, and Minimalist, which add fresh storytelling angles and lifestyle choices. Each trait comes as its own file, so you can mix, match, or remove them easily depending on how you want your game to feel.
Artistic Prodigy Trait

Download: Artistic Prodigy Trait
Some Sims are just born to create, and that’s exactly what the Artistic Prodigy Trait captures. This trait ensures your Sims are naturally gifted in painting, photography, and creativity. Your Sim will always feel inspired when standing in front of a canvas, making every brushstroke flow with ease. And, the pack has been updated for Cats and Dogs.
With this trait, Sims:
- Learn the Painting skill faster compared to others.
- Boost their Photography and Child Creativity skills at a quicker rate.
- Stay consistently inspired, making it easier to produce high-quality masterpieces.
If you love raising Sims who thrive on self-expression, this trait is a must-have for filling your game with talent and artistry. You can fill your Sim’s home with your own painting or get custom Sims 4 Painting CC pieces.
Heartbreaker Trait Pack

Download: Heartbreaker Trait Pack
The Heartbreaker Trait is made for Sims who thrive on chaos in their love lives. This trait combines elements of Commitment Issues, Mean, Flirty, and Self-Assured to make Sims confident in their charm but reckless in relationships. They gain whims like WooHoo with a Sim or End Current Relationship, constantly pushing them toward romantic drama.
Sims with this trait will find that their romantic relationships degrade much faster than usual (1.5 times faster) to keep them in a cycle of passion and heartbreak. When I want to spice up my romantic gameplay, I use this trait so my Sim plays with emotions, leaves a trail of broken hearts, and never settles down for long.

Download: 100 Base Game Traits Pack Version 1

Nonchalant New Trait

Download: Nonchalant New Trait
Give your Sim the Nonchalant Trait, and watch how they choose peace over chaos. Sims with this trait become focused in calm environments and are rarely tense or uncomfortable. Instead of seeking constant social interaction, they often turn to writing, and they pour their minds into books, stories, or even a blog on the computer.
With this trait, Sims have a slower decline in their Social need, making them more independent. They also dislike loud environments, learn to hate noisy music, and become irritated when surrounded by disruptive sounds. Your Nonchalant Sim will thrive in quiet moments and give no emotions.

Pyromania Trait + Allow Fire on Every Lot Script

Download: Pyromania Trait + Allow Fire on Every Lot Script
The Pyromaniac trait is here to set the world on fire, literally. Sims with this trait gain a happy buff when surrounded by flames instead of fear. They can’t be harmed by fire, and instead, they light up (both emotionally and literally) whenever a blaze starts.
With this trait, your Sim will:
- Get tense if they haven’t started a fire in a while.
- Feel bored when extinguishing flames.
- Receive custom moodlets when fires break out.
- Develop whims such as lighting or purchasing a fireplace, and even starting fires themselves.
The mod also comes with an optional script that allows fires to spawn on any lot type, not just residential homes. That means nowhere is safe from your Sim’s fiery impulses. Click on the link attached to find out the mods that conflict with this trait.
College Student Trait

Download: College Student Trait
The College Student Trait is a funny, relatable personality that parodies the ups and downs of student life. Sims with this trait embody the chaotic mix of late-night cramming, poor money habits, and bursts of procrastination that most players will recognize.
With this trait, your Sims gain unique buffs and gameplay twists. These are:
- Whims: Study, read, buy computers, enter gaming tournaments, and more.
- Skill Boosts: Video Gaming and Work Ethic skills increase twice as fast.

- Occasional Events: Sims can randomly feel tense or face hilarious, continuous loots like Moooommmm (embarrassed from unpaid bills.
You can use these Sims 4 traits on teens to elders.

Download: Zodiac Signs by Digits Part 1.3
For those into zodiac signs and astrology, this Sims 4 traits pack is a must-have. It contains 12 zodiac signs, each bringing its own buffs and quirks to your game. Sims with these traits gain occasional moodlets like feeling bored, tense, angry, or confused, depending on their sign and situation. Compatibility also plays a role, with air signs meshing better with each other, while water signs naturally connect with earth signs.
The pack is compatible with the base game, and works for children and older adults. If you love astrology, this mod gives your Sims the celestial influence they’ve been missing.
Feminine and Manly Traits

Download: Feminine and Manly Traits
I included this set for Simmers who want to bring back a bit of classic Sims humor and push personality extremes. The Feminine and Manly Traits pack delivers two bold traits: Feminine and Manly.
- Feminine Sims gain buffs like “World is Beautiful” (+2 Flirty) and excel at skills such as Baking, Cooking, and Wellness. They’ll also act family-oriented, neat, romantic, and well-mannered.
- Manly Sims, on the other hand, get the “World is Mine” (+2 Confident) buff and perform better in careers like Detective, Doctor, Scientist, Athlete, Business, and Tech Guru.
Both traits are available for teens to elders, and each comes with unique boosts that reflect stereotypical portrayals in a fun, over-the-top way. As a disclaimer, these traits are based on gender stereotypes that don’t correspond to the creator’s beliefs.

Designed specifically for toddlers in The Sims 4, the Toddler Traits Pack V2.5 is a fun pack with 20 unique traits. Each trait gives your little Sims distinctive buffs and gameplay effects. The traits range from Adorable, Bubbly, and Easy-Tempered to more challenging ones like Always Hungry, Spoiled, and Slow-to-Warm-Up Temperament.
There’s a reward traits version and a CAS version. I normally use this pack when completing any family-style challenge to give my babies different personalities and traits.
